The Boxer is an automatic system for indexing pre-made cartons or containers through a conveying system which incorporates a weighing device and filling system. All systems, whilst complying with the same general principles, are custom designed and built to the customers specification and requirements. The following data is therefore intended as a guide only.

Technical Data
Weight Range	Maximum up to 50kg (Other capacities may be considered) Minimum dependent on product characteristics and container sizes but nominally 2.5kg
Capacity	A wide range of pre-formed cartons or containers can be handled on the BOXER. On a single system a range of sizes can also be handled, (within agreed limits) changeover being simply accomplished by the adjustment of guides and gates and the exchange of some chutes etc.
Speed/Accuracy	Dependent on the product characteristics. We will be pleased to conduct trials with customers products and issue a report on our findings, or to estimate performance based on our experience
Control Systems	Various options available. Please see separate data sheets
Electrical	Normally 380/415 VAC, 3 phase, 50Hz, (other voltages available on request). All necessary interface, control and safety equipment is included. Electrical supply must be stable and free from interference and fluctuations.
Compressed Air	Approximately 25 litres per minute @ 5bar. Air must be clean and dry, no lubrication required. All machines are fitted with an appropriate filter regulator unit.
Dimensions	All systems are custom designed and built to the customers requirements. A dimensional drawing will be supplied on conclusion of the design phase.

General
Standard Equipment	All machines are supplied with a suitable product infeed hopper together with an outfeed chute to suit the most common container to be filled, with other interchangeable, chutes available as optional extras. Choice of feed systems to suit product: Standard electro-magnetic vibratory feeder(s) can be replaced by a screw or belt feed system. Pneumatic operation of all gates, etc. Choice of container handling systems: Standard flat belt conveyors can be replaced by motorised roller, polycord, roller track and other suitable similar alternatives. PLC control of complete system.
Optional Equipment	Interchangeable chutes etc to suit a wide range of container sizes. Hopper product level detectors, to control product in-feed systems. Special contact parts and coatings to minimise product adhesion and corrosive effects. Dust covers. Data link to central computer systems*. Printout of statistical information*. Compliance with metrological and legislative requirements*. * Depending on control system fitted.
